Rebranding for italki

When an external agency completed italki's rebrand, the work of actually implementing it began internally. As the visual designer sitting across marketing and product, my role was to take the new brand guidelines and figure out how they actually worked: in practice, at scale, across very different touchpoints.

Over the course of a year, I applied the new visual language across marketing: ads, landing pages, and social content across campaigns with real performance stakes. Producing at scale made it clear where the system worked and where it needed more definition, which I translated into an internal brand application guide with the marketing lead.

On the product side, I collaborated with the product team to bring the new design language into the homepage.
